The band pledged themselves to a basic, pummeling rock sound reminiscent of Atomic Rooster. The Poole brothers provided a unique multi-layered background to Leslie’s alternatively mythical or humor-based lyrics, with their music strongly emphasized toward crushing rhythms. Orgasm, their only album, was released in 1969 but failed to gain commercial traction.
